Is it safe to play safe ?

Is it safe to play safe ?

Well, it depends. If it's 100%, then you are a dead person, already. You won't move forward, won't venture out, won't explore... No new treatments, no new places, no discoveries, no inventions.

You eat out one day, what you have in store, no matter, how vast, unless you replenish it regularly.

And, why would you do that, afraid of failures... that takes a heavy toll, on your self confidence.

Only failures do make you strong, and experienced. Sailing always, in peace, won't make you a good captain. It's ok to fail, once in a while. Golden quote from 'Sanju', "it's ok to be ordainary".

Best efforts are made, when at ease, but remember, it's so difficult to be at ease. Performance anxiety, may bring your efficiency to the rock bottom.

So, does it mean throwing caution to the wind.

Good lord, No ! We used to have an olympic size swimming pool at our institute. One side shallow, deapth 3.5 to 5.5 feet, gradient, for learners, and suddenly to 32 feet, for expert swimmers and divers.

A senior of mine, one day decided to take a risk, and jump into deep side, aiming to learn fast. Training session was over, and so safety measures and accident watchining was at ease. To cut a long story short, he sank to floor, in no time, and could be saved with immense effort, and tremendous luck.

They say, no risk, no gain.

I'd say, it's lovely and lively to take risks, but they should be calculated first !
